Lindsay Park Racing is one of the premier providers of racehorse training operations in Australia with stables at Flemington as well as our state-of-the-art training complex at Euroa, North Eastern Victoria.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator based at Euroa. Terms are Full Time, Monday to Friday and we require an organised, accurate, flexible and positive all-rounder who is willing to support Management and the Stable with efficiency and professional processes, on a number of levels.

About the Role

Reporting to the GM, the purpose of the role is to directly manage and implement the business requirements relating to its people and culture.

The role will see you take ownership over a variety of HR tasks including;

  • Recruitment, onboarding and induction activities
  • Maintaining and updating employee records
  • Developing and maintaining HR documents, including company policies and procedures
  • Support and provide advice to managers for performance management, reviews, grievance processes.
  • Oversee and organise internal and external training programs, including the company’s traineeship program.
  • Support and contribute to company OH&S objectives
  • Work to develop and deliver initiatives to support company culture, retention, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Staying up to date with the Fair Work Act and industry Awards

Job Requirements

  • Degree or relevant Diploma in Business, Management or Human Resources or a Minimum 5-year experience in Human Resource role
  • Certificate in Return-to-Work Co-ordination (desirable)
  • Previous experience in payroll fundamentals (desirable)
  • Previous experience in grievance practice and procedure.
  • Excellent understanding of Employment and IR law and WorkCover, FairWork Act and National Employment Standards
  • Proficient written and interpersonal communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foresee prospective needs and requirements.
  • Ability to priorities and meet deadlines.
