HR Consultant

Ciaron Maher Racing is one of the leading horse racing stables in Australia with various operations across Victoria and NSW.

We are seeking an HR Consultant to provide ongoing support to management on HR related matters for a period of 9 months maternity leave cover.

The role is Ballarat based but provides support across all our locations in Victoria and NSW.

Specific tasks include:

• Recruitment and induction of stable and administrative staff
• Payroll processing and staff rostering
• Practical support for disciplinary matters
• Management of Workcover claims, WHS obligations and Stable Licensing
• Oversight of HR and WHS Policy and compliance
• Other administrative duties

Applicants will require an HR qualification and experience with practical interpretation of the Fair Work Act and Awards.
