A unique and varied opportunity exists for a competent administrator/ horse person to join our team in Sydney. The role will involve the administration and preparation of imports and exports of horses to Australia as well as working at the Airport utilising your hands on horse expertise.
You will also be required to assist at Sydney airport with the safe arrival and departure of horses as well as, if desired, the opportunity to be trained as a flying groom, accompanying horses to various destinations internationally.
The successful candidate needs to demonstrate a thorough understand of the horse industry with experience both in administration and horse handling and demonstrate a strong commitment to animal welfare for all breeds, sex and temperaments of horses pre, during and post travel.
Being self motivated with attention to detail and a willingness to work as part of a small team is a must and a commensurate salary will be paid to the right person.
