Griffiths de Kock Racing have positions available for a Stable Hand and a Trackwork Rider, located in Cranbourne.
STABLE HAND:
Full time position available:
Monday - Saturday mornings (4am - approximately 9.30am)
3 afternoons a week (2pm - approximately 5pm)
Strapping at races
Every second Sunday
Daily Tasks will include handling, walking, washing, rugging, swimming horses, as well as usual stable duties (mucking out, cleaning up, etc)
Applicant must be reliable and able to work as a part of a team.
Experience with race horses is preferred.
RIDERS:
Monday to Saturday mornings (4.30am - approximately 9.30am)
Afternoon shifts and strapping available as well if applicant is interested in doing so.
Must be confident to ride young horses and must be able to ride both slow and fast timed work
International applicants must have a valid visa in order to be considered.
Above award wages.
Accommodation could be available for the right candidates.
