Foreperson

A Foreperson’s position has now become available at our Ballarat stable.

To be eligible, you must have a minimum of 1 years’ full time professional experience in a similar stable management role, demonstrating excellent leadership and horse handling skills.

We will specifically assess your ability to:

• supervise all associated stable activities and lead our team independently;
• assess each horse’s progression and education in consultation with Nigel and track riders;
• ensure safe operation of all equipment and the use of personal protective equipment, and mitigate safety hazards;
• attend race days and trials as required, occasionally representing the stable and communicating with jockey and owners.

This role would suit a Ballarat local with professional referees to support your application.
