POSITION AVAILABLE Sapphire Coast Stable Foreman/Track Rider.
Joseph and Jones Racing are seeking a foreman/track rider to manage our Sapphire Coast satellite stable located in picturesque south coast of NSW.
Brand new facilities including your own 2 bedroom apartment, located upstairs of the horse stables and overlooking the Sapphire coast race track. The stable is located on the Sapphire Coast racetrack Kalaru NSW which has a 2200mt grass track, sand track inside and bush tracks as an alternate option for the horses. Our stable has 21 boxes, day yards, 8 horse walker, treadmill. Beach is a 15 minute drive when suitable for horse work.
Stable runs between 10-16 horses which is a pre-training/freshen up facility for the primary Canberra Stable. You should have experience in all facets of track work from educating young horses through to fast work.
This may suit a small trainer who is looking to relocate to Sapphire Coast and train our horses at the one facility.
Truck Driving License would be beneficial, but not essential. Horse truck will be left at Sapphire Stable to transport horses to races, spelling paddock or Canberra stable.
Possible part time position could be available for a partner who has experience with horses (ideal for a couple)
Wage will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
