Due to an unexpected Visa issue Lime Country Thoroughbreds are now looking for a full time member of staff to join the farm as soon as possible. We are looking for a motivated, determined & experienced individuals who have a minimum of two years thoroughbred stud experience.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industry best practice, with full time experience on a thoroughbred property either in Australia or alternative international experience. You will also need good references to back up your work experience.
This position maybe a short-term contract of up to six months or a more permanent role for an ambitious person who would like to take on more responsibility within the team going into next season. We are a growing business focused on providing the best of care for approximately 50 broodmares and sales yearlings of approximately 50 per year across a variety of sales.
Based on 300 acres an hour and half to Sydney airport and 4km from the lovely town of Bowral. Accommodation, internet and mobile phone will be provided along with the use of a shared staff car. Good hours and a future holiday break available in June or July after the Weanling and Broodmare Sales are completed.
Note: This role could be expanded to suit a couple for the right people if both people had suitable experience.
