Hawkes Racing is a successful Horse Training Partnership comprising of John, Wayne & Michael Hawkes.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Data Entry/Administration Assistant to provide support to the Accounts Office. The role is based within the Racing Stables at Rosehill Racecourse.

  • 4 Days per week
  • Monday to Thursday 9am – 4.30pm (Negotiable)
  • Salary dependant on experience


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Entry Debtors & Creditors
  • General Bookkeeping
  • Chasing up of Overdue/Outstanding Debtors
  • Answer & Action phone calls promptly
  • Purchasing requirements for the office
  • Collection of mail and banking of cheques


To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Experience in an Administrative role
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise & multitask
  • Clear and confident communicator with a pleasant phone manner
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and cohesively within a small team
  • Excellent Written communication skills
  • MYOB and Ardex Software would be an advantage
  • Comfortable working in an animal friendly environment
