Hinterland Thoroughbreds, located in the Gold Coast hinterland, QLD, has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications and Administration Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.
The role will have a strong focus on managing the team’s social media platforms to actively engage with audiences and positively promote the team. Core activities under this function will include taking quality photos and videos of stock and team activities, regularly posting these on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in addition to supporting the General Manager with internal and external communication of bloodstock developments to stakeholders. The role is also responsible for managing the team’s day-to-day administration activities such as directing queries and phone calls, assisting with payroll and invoicing, and supporting the General Manager with staff rostering and leave management.
In order to be successful in this role, applicants need to have a good understanding of the key elements of quality photography and must be confident and experienced in using and engaging with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You will also need to be able to think on your feet, be flexible and relaxed under pressure, able to juggle competing demands, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and possess excellent interpersonal skills that you will use to build effective working relationships and support the team in a robust and efficient way.
