Applicants must have experience working with racehorses in a stable or farm environment. The applicant must have previous experience catching, leading, holding, grooming, and feeding, racehorses as well as stable/yard work experience. Horse welfare and knowledge is an advantage.
The successful applicant duties will include but are not limited to;
Successful applicants must be available to work rotating weekends, work as a team, be honest, and have a can-do attitude. Extensive experience in dealing with horses is required and above award, wages apply.
Hours will include but are not limited to:
3 Days a Week split shifts 6:30am-10:30am / 2:30pm-4:30pm (6 hours Daily)
(additional hours during peak periods may be required). Days can be discussed.
Weekends (Every second Weekend is required)
Split Shift Saturday & Sunday
7am-9am / 3pm-5pm (4 hours each day)
The position involves manual labour; therefore, applicants must be physically fit, be able to follow instructions and be able to work as part of a team.
The hours are 6 hours a day,3 days a week on a rotating fortnightly weekend roster. This ensures fairness and balance with respect to family time.
Casual Rate above award wage applies.
