Assistant yearling Manager
You need to be an enthusiastic and experienced person that enjoys working with quality horses and large drafts for all the major yearling sales around Australia.
Your role will include:
Training and preparing yearlings for major sales
Overseeing a small team of staff with the yearling manager
Handling, exercising, and the daily care of weanlings through to yearlings
To be successful in securing the role:
Must have proven experience working with young horses both colts and fillies
Must be competent with a good work ethic and a positive attitude to all tasks at hand
Ability to work in a team and independently
Ability to manage staff under the direction of the yearling manager
Confident in administering treatments and medications both IM and IV
Shared accommodation is provided off farm along with above award rates. Applicants must be an Australian resident or hold a current working visa and have car license and own transport to get to and from work.
