Kavanagh Racing Stables based at Flemington Racecourse is seeking the services of an experienced Administration Assistant.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Answering phones
- Typing and sending out client communications
- Updating and maintaining our database
- Processing horse registrations and transfers
- Data entry of invoices
- Filing
- Taking care of the office housekeeping
To be successful in this position you will need
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a fast paced office environment
- Accurate and fast typing speed
- Professional communication skills
- Attention to detail
- A strong ability to prioritize and multi task as you will be reporting to various superiors
- A friendly telephone manner
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Email
- Intermediate MYOB experience
- Enjoys working with others however comfortable working alone
- Ardex knowledge advantageous however must also have the ability to pick up new software quickly
- Experience or a thorough understanding of the thoroughbred racing industry highly advantageous
