Hawkes Racing is a successful Horse Training Partnership comprising of John, Wayne & Michael Hawkes.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant to provide support to the Accounts Office. The role is based within the Racing Stables at Rosehill Racecourse.
- Full Time and / or Casual
- Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm (Negotiable)
- Salary dependant on experience
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Data Entry Debtors & Creditors
- Bank Reconciliations and General Bookkeeping
- Wages, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation & Leave Accruals
- PAYG and BAS Lodgement
- Chasing up of Overdue/Outstanding Debtors
- Answer & Action phone calls promptly
- Purchasing requirements for the office
- Collection of mail and banking of cheques
- Cleaning of Office
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Experience in a similar Accounts/Payroll/Administrative role
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office (Excel) and MYOB essential
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise & multitask
- Clear and confident communicator with a pleasant phone manner
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and cohesively within a small team
- Excellent Written communication skills
- Proficiency with Ardex Software would be an advantage
- Comfortable working in an animal friendly environment
