Farm Hand

Godolphin is the world’s largest, global breeding and racing operation who has an exciting opportunity for a Farm Hand to be based at its Kelvinside operation in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

Reporting to the Farm Manager, the successful applicant should be an organised, efficient and driven individual with attention to detail, have a positive attitude, good work ethic and be willing to go above and beyond in your role.

Providing assistance to the Farm Manager, the key responsibilities in this position include general farm operations such as:

• Pasture maintenance
• Weed and pest control
• Ploughing and seeding
• Irrigation operation
• Farm machinery operation
• Maintenance and repair of fencing, buildings, machinery, irrigation units and other equipment
• Cattle work including movements and general animal husbandry

Desirable:

• Previous experience within the farming industry
• Chemical accreditation
• Forklift accreditation
• Current Drivers licence
