The Senior Stipendiary Steward will be a member of the Panel of Stipendiary Stewards. He must be able to read and analyze races and detect riding infringements that occur. He will have to conduct investigations and prosecute offenders for infringements of the MRA Rules of Racing.

Only persons with a thorough knowledge and understanding of horse racing with at least 8 years’ experience as a Stipendiary Steward need to apply. The person should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
